NOTE: If this is your first time using a natural deodorant, it can take a week or two for your body to detox from the chemicals found in traditional deodorants. To be mindful of our carbon footprint, returns on opened and used products are not accepted but we will refund the cost of the product. If your product is unopened/unused, we’ll provide a return label and deduct that cost from your refund.
Once the refund form has been filled out, our team will process the refund within 1 business day. Once issued, the refund can take 5-10 business days to show up in your account depending on your bank.

A recurring order, or subscription, is a way of ensuring you never run out of product while getting our products at a discounted rate! When you checkout with a Recurring Order of the cream, stick, or both, you’ll be automatically signed up to have an identical order process and ship every two, three, or four months! Each product is discounted by 15% for the first and every following subscription/recurring order.
By default, subscriptions renew every two months, but you can change the frequency of the fulfillments at any time!

Ocean waste plastic is a recyclable plastic made from plastic products collected from the oceans, coastlines, and uncontrolled landfills.
We want to make sure that the products we were putting on the market were not only recyclable but also actively working to clean up our oceans and protect the environment.
Many of the popular “alternative” packaging options on the market are not entirely safe for the environment.
Producing paper packaging requires excessive water consumption and releases excessive greenhouse gas emissions. It’s also heavy to ship, which contributes to emissions in transit. Paper packaging doesn’t guarantee freshness for most of our products anyway since the integrity of the packaging can be broken by natural ingredients like coconut oil.
Bioplastics (plastic derived from sugar cane, cassava or cornstarch) use massive amounts of land to produce the necessary crops, contributing to greenhouse gas emissions and competes for land to produce crops for food in already strained agriculture systems. After disposal, bioplastics need extremely high heat to properly decompose, and many cities do not have existing infrastructure to treat them.
We set out to find packaging that was not only safe and compatible with our formulas but also meets our criteria for sustainability. OWP uses 85% less energy, 75% fewer greenhouse gases, less water, and less energy in production than virgin plastic, all while creating 6X more jobs on average than landfilling recyclables.
OWP packaging repurposes the plastic already in our ecosystem, is lighter to ship than the glass packaging we’ve used in the past, and is curbside recyclable!
Right now, the Deodorant Cream, Cleansing Hand Gels, and our Underarm Oil are packaged using OWP. Moving forward, we’ll roll out new products in the best packaging for that product and for the environment, which means we may use aluminum or post-consumer recyclables in addition to OWP.
Great question! We’re still finalizing the sustainable packaging design for the stick. We currently have virgin plastic sticks left in our inventory, so we’ll be selling those until they run out and we can produce sustainable packaging. The only thing worse than producing new virgin plastic, is wasting the products already packaged in them.

Yes! Our Natural Deodorant Cream packaging may look different, but it’s the same formula you know and love!
Our cream deodorant has a thick, clay-like cream consistency that you apply with your hands. You only need a pea-sized amount under each arm to give you long-lasting odor control. Any excess can be removed with a tissue or rubbed into the skin with your fingers.
We know, we know-- applying deodorant with your fingers is different. Some of our customers use a cosmetic spatula, popsicle stick, or spoon to get the right amount out of the jar without using their fingers.
It’s a bit minty, a bit citrusy, and not overwhelming. Since D&A2018.LLC neutralizes odor, the scent will dissipate throughout the day so you’ll smell like nothing at all. If a scentless deodorant is what you want, we also have an unscented version of the stick applicator!
Our deodorants contain a natural preservative that’s been professionally lab-tested for shelf life. As with the majority of cosmetics, both our cream and stick deodorant should be used in entirety within 12 months of purchase and within 6 months of opening.
We recommend purchasing no more than a 6 months’ supply to ensure maximum effectiveness of our product. To optimize shelf life, we store your deodorant with the lid on tight in a dry room with a moderate temperature. Please do NOT add water to your deodorant cream or stick, as this can reduce shelf life.

Yes! Our natural deodorants were specifically formulated for sensitive skin (especially our scentless stick!). The baking soda content in all our deodorant is at the threshold of effectiveness without causing irritation to the vast majority of people. Many people with sensitivities to other antiperspirants and baking soda-heavy deodorants tolerate our deodorants just fine. Absolutely! In fact, we’ve had many people continue using D&A2018.LLC products after breastfeeding because of our clean ingredients and low percentage of essential oils in our scented products. We care about sensitive noses and making safe products, so, the entire essential oil blend makes up less than 1% of the overall formula, falling far below the <2% safe range. If you’re still not sure about the essential oils, opt for our scentless stick!
We understand what you choose to use on your body during your pregnancy or breastfeeding is very personal, so we suggest running your decision by your doctor.
Due to the use of natural ingredients, the appearance of our product’s color or texture might differ slightly from batch to batch. This will not affect the effectiveness of our deodorant. If you have any questions about your specific order, please email us [email protected].
Easy fix! Just add a small drop of witch hazel or coconut oil to the deodorant cream and stir. This will restore the creamy texture while maintaining its effectiveness.
Caution: DO NOT add plain water to the deodorant. This will reduce it’s shelf life.

Because of the coconut oil and other natural ingredients, in warmer temperatures the deodorant cream may loosen up a bit. If your deodorant is not solid enough to apply, you can put it in the fridge for 30 minutes maximum. Any longer and we cannot guarantee the efficacy of the product.
When used as directed, our natural deodorant does not stain your skin grey or your t-shirts yellow as most traditional antiperspirants do.
Our products do contain coconut oil, and certain fabrics can be more sensitive to contact with this ingredient. That is why we suggest just one light swipe of our stick applicator under each arm and only a pea-sized amount or less of our deodorant cream. Allow the deodorant to dry completely or rub it all the way in before getting dressed. If there is any excess product under your arm after application, it’s totally safe (and recommended!) to use your hand to rub it all the way and remove the excess to prevent product build-up.
The human body is a crazy thing and sometimes a shift in our underarm pH can lead to excess body odor. This is a common occurrence that even we face once in a while. Changes in diet, stress levels, and even climate can affect your body’s pH. You can learn more about it in our blog post here. UNDERARM DETOX MASK
The number one reason you should detox is to get rid of all the chemicals that are absorbed into your skin from using chemical-based deodorants. For many, the process of transitioning to a natural deodorant isn’t always seamless. We developed our Underarm Mask to ease the transition period and prep the underarm area for optimal efficacy with your (new favorite!) D&A2018.LLC. Using the powerful detoxifying properties of Bentonite and Kaolin Clays along with absorbent activated charcoal, our mask is designed to draw out toxins, and help to accelerate the transition from conventional antiperspirant or deodorant to natural deodorant.
Things like diet, stress, and hormonal changes can shift your body’s pH even if you’ve been using natural deodorant for a while. If you find your D&A2018.LLC deodorant isn’t as effective as it once was, we recommend a detox mask to balance your pH and reinstate the efficacy of our deodorant.
Some customers repeat the detox process every 3-4 months! Giving your underarms a little extra love for a few weeks also helps minimize toxin buildup, and leads to softer, more moisturized underarm skin over time.
We recommend using the mask 1-2 times per week when a detox is needed-- either during the transition to a natural deodorant or to maintain balanced, healthy, and happy pits!
Like all of our products, the Underarm Detox Mask should be kept in a cool, dry area, ideally below 70 degrees F.
HAND SANITIZER GELS
We use pure ethanol, 200 proof, derived from non-GMO sugar cane. It is FDA approved and adheres to the CDC guidelines for disinfecting.
Alcohol based rinse-free hand gels and hand sanitizers are most effective at killing germs and viruses at concentrations of 60%+ ethanol or 70%+ isopropanol. Our formula contains 62% non-GMO, pure ethanol alcohol derived from sugar cane and essential oil blends which, combined, have antibacterial, antiseptic and antiviral properties.
No hand sanitizer is a replacement for washing your hands! There is nothing more effective at eliminating bacteria and viruses than washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds. Hand sanitizer gels provide an alternative when soap and water aren’t available.
They do not. Similar to all rinse-free hand washes and hand sanitizers, our Hand Sanitizer Gels will not work if you wash them off.
